Data Sync Issues
Resolve problems with data synchronization between devices and the cloud.
Data synchronization ensures that changes made on one device appear on all your devices. If data isn't syncing properly, try these solutions.
Check Internet Connection
Data sync requires an active internet connection:
- Verify you have a stable internet connection
- Check your Wi-Fi or cellular data signal strength
- Try loading other websites to test connectivity
- Restart your router if needed
Refresh or Restart
Simple refresh steps:
- Web App: Refresh the page (Ctrl+R or Cmd+R)
- Mobile App: Close and restart the app
- Wait 10-30 seconds for sync to complete
- Check if data appears after refresh
Verify Account
Ensure you're logged into the correct account:
- Check that you're logged in with the same account on all devices
- Verify you're part of the correct organization
- Log out and log back in if needed
Clear Cache
Cached data can cause sync issues:
- Web: Clear browser cache and cookies
- Mobile: Clear app cache in device settings
- Restart the app or browser after clearing
Offline Mode
If using the mobile app offline:
- Data entered offline will sync when connection is restored
- Ensure you've logged in at least once while online
- Wait for automatic sync when back online
- Manually trigger sync if available in app settings
Check for Conflicts
If multiple users are editing the same data:
- Holo handles conflicts automatically, keeping the most recent change
- Check activity logs to see who made changes
- Coordinate with team members on simultaneous edits
Update App
Ensure you're using the latest version:
- Update the mobile app from the app store
- Clear browser cache if using web app
- Check for system notifications about updates
💡 Pro Tip
Data typically syncs within 10-30 seconds. If data doesn't appear after a minute, try the troubleshooting steps above.
