Data Not Syncing
Symptoms: Changes made on one device don't appear on others, or data appears outdated.
Solutions:
- Check your internet connection - data syncs require an active connection
- Refresh the page or restart the mobile app
- Check if you're logged in with the correct account
- Clear your browser cache if using the web app
- Wait a few moments - sync can take 10-30 seconds depending on connection speed
Harvest Forecasts Seem Inaccurate
Symptoms: Harvest dates don't match actual crop maturity, or forecasts seem off.
Solutions:
- Ensure planting dates are accurately recorded in crop plans
- Update scouting information regularly - forecasts improve with recent data
- Verify weather data integration is working correctly
- Check that crop varieties are correctly assigned (different varieties have different GDD requirements)
- Review historical harvest data for similar crops and conditions
- Remember that forecasts are estimates - actual harvest timing can vary based on many factors
Mobile App Not Working Offline
Symptoms: Can't access data or record information when offline.
Solutions:
- Ensure you've logged in at least once while online to sync data
- Check that the app has necessary permissions (storage, location, etc.)
- Update to the latest version of the app
- Restart the app after going offline
- Note: Some features require internet connection - basic data entry should work offline and sync when connection is restored
Crop Plan Recommendations Don't Make Sense
Symptoms: AI recommendations seem incorrect or don't match your expectations.
Solutions:
- Review and update your sales forecasts - plans are driven by demand
- Verify field constraints and availability are correctly set
- Check that historical yield data is accurate
- Ensure soil test data is up to date
- Review crop rotation rules - the system may be avoiding certain fields
- Remember you can always manually adjust recommendations
- Contact support if recommendations consistently seem off - we can review your data
Integration Not Working
Symptoms: Weather data, sensors, or other integrations aren't updating.
Solutions:
- Check integration status in Settings → Integrations
- Verify API keys or credentials are correct and not expired
- Test the connection using the "Test Connection" button
- Check if the external service is experiencing issues
- Re-authenticate if using OAuth-based integrations
- Review integration logs for error messages
Reports Not Generating
Symptoms: Can't generate compliance reports or PDFs aren't creating.
Solutions:
- Ensure you have the necessary data entered (activities, inputs, etc.)
- Check that date ranges are valid
- Verify you have permission to generate reports
- Try generating a different report to isolate the issue
- Clear browser cache and try again
- Check if there are any system notifications about report generation
Slow Performance
Symptoms: Pages load slowly, actions are delayed, or the app feels sluggish.
Solutions:
- Check your internet connection speed
- Close unnecessary browser tabs or apps
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Update to the latest version of your browser or mobile app
- Try accessing from a different device or network
- Reduce the date range when viewing large datasets
- Contact support if performance issues persist
