Welcome to Holo! This guide will help you get started with our integrated farm management and ERP platform. Follow these steps to set up your account and begin managing your operation.
Step 1: Create Your Account
To get started, you'll need to create a Holo account. You can sign in using Google or Microsoft, or create an account with your email address. Once you've signed in, you'll be taken to the onboarding process.
Step 2: Set Up Your Farm Profile
During onboarding, you'll be asked to provide information about your farm:
- Farm name and location
- Farm size and acreage
- Types of crops you grow
- Growing seasons and regions
- Contact information
This information helps Holo customize your experience and provide relevant recommendations.
Step 3: Invite Your Team
Holo is designed for team collaboration. Invite your team members by going to Settings → Team Members. You can assign different roles and permissions to each team member based on their responsibilities.
Step 4: Explore the Dashboard
Your dashboard is the central hub for your farm operations. Here you'll find:
- Overview of current operations and key metrics
- Upcoming tasks and scheduled activities
- Harvest forecasts and sales information
- Recent activity and notifications
- Quick access to all major features
Step 5: Set Up Your First Crop Plan
Start by creating your first crop plan. Navigate to Crop Planner and:
- Select the fields you want to plan
- Choose your crops and varieties
- Set planting dates based on sales forecasts
- Review AI-generated recommendations
- Save and activate your plan
Step 6: Connect Integrations (Optional)
Holo integrates with many services to enhance your operations:
- Weather services (NWS, NASA, OpenMeteo)
- Soil sensors and irrigation systems
- AI services for optimization
- Hardware like Zebra printers
You can set up integrations later, but connecting them early will provide more accurate forecasts and automation.
